resume review

We focus on first impressions: what does your resume say about you? Does your resume reflect the jobs you are applying for? Our coach will help you craft a version of your resume that will impress recruiters and hiring managers. We want you to stand out in a crowded field of candidates.

$100 includes written feedback or feedback via a video and will include suggestions about ways to improve your resume

For you if:

  • You aren’t getting past the first stage of the hiring process

  • You are on a budget

$200 includes a meeting with our coach and a conversation about ways to improve your resume as well as the overall story you are sharing

For you if:

  • You learn best while in communication with others

  • You aren’t getting past the first stage of the hiring process and you feel like you’ve tried everything

Mock IntervieW

$200 per hour

Interviews can be awkward, but they don’t have to be.  Whether in-person, over the phone, or on Zoom, we’ll practice answering questions to make sure that you’re telling your story in a way that makes you stand out from the crowd.

We’ll practice answering commonly-asked questions and some unconventional ones to make sure that you’re confident and prepared to show off your experience.  You’ll also receive a recording of the session that will allow you to fully engage during the process and review your feedback as you’d like in the future.

We’ll ask you to fill out a form in advance to give us more information on what job you’re applying to so we can adapt questions and feedback to a specific sector and/or role, if desired.

  • You are changing careers and need help crafting your story 

  • You aren’t getting past the initial interview of the hiring process

  • You want to be extra prepared because this is your dream job

 
 

NRG Private Coaching

$800 for 4 hours

We will craft these sessions to meet your needs. Whatever you choose to focus on, Kristin will work with you on how to best share your story, interview well, and stand out in a crowd.

The general outline of what’s available:

  • Intros and “tell me about yourself” practice.

  • Tips for creating job search materials, including your resume, and how to align your LinkedIn and overall online presence.

  • Interviewing training, tips, and practice.

  • How to leverage your network and best practices for informational interviews.

For you if:

  • You have been out of the job hunt for three or more years

  • You’re making a big career change and need an expert perspective to help you craft a plan to make it happen

NRG Coaching Plus

$1800 for 10 hours

You get everything in NRG Private Coaching plus:

  • Kristin will help you make the introductions you need to expand your network

  • You will dive deep into any area of the search process that you feel needs the most work

  • An empathetic and strategic accountability partner and ally

For you if:

  • You want support navigating the job market

MEET kristin:

Kristin Saybe has worked as a Recruitment Director for non-profits and progressive organizations overseeing large-scale recruitment and hiring campaigns hiring thousands of people to work in the progressive community. 

Most recently, Kristin was the Recruitment Director for the Outreach Team, overseeing the hiring of field directors, organizers, project directors and operations staff for GOTV efforts, voter registration and signature-gathering campaigns run on behalf of organizations such as Planned Parenthood, NARAL Pro-Choice, and the League of Conservation Voters.  Kristin has extensive staff development and training experience, and is passionate about connecting people with roles and organizations where they will excel.  

Currently living in Richmond, VA with her husband and two daughters, Kristin grew up in Louisiana where she developed a love for parades and cajun food.  During her downtime she loves to spend time at the James River and is an avid knitter. 

Kristin has spent her career in staff development and training. She is passionate about connecting people with roles and organizations where they will excel.  Because she has hired and recruited thousands of people in the progressive community, she knows what it takes for a candidate to stand out from the crowd. 

Kristin will listen, help you to identify where you feel stuck in your job search, and keep you accountable.  Working with The Outreach Team, she hired field directors, organizers, project directors and operations staff for GOTV efforts. This experience means that Kristin understands the complexities of hiring and can offer the insight that you have always wanted. During the intro call, we can help you figure out a plan that works best for you. You may want the resume review or mock interview or both! Additionally, if you are considering NRG Private Coaching or NRG Coaching Plus, we require a complimentary intro call to get started.

Option 1: Schedule a complimentary 15-minute intro call with Kristin. This option is best for you if:

  • You aren’t sure what services you want or need.

  • You aren’t sure you even want coaching.

  • You are looking for several sessions of private coaching.

  • You want to learn more about NRG Coaching in general.

  • You are one of the majority of people reading this. When in doubt, schedule the intro call.

Option 2: Purchase coaching services without the introductory call. This option is best for you if:

  • You have already completed an intro call and know what service you want.

  • You have little time to spare. You talked to Naomi or someone else at NRG and fully understand NRG’s Coaching services and now you know you want either the resume review or mock interview. You have zero questions.

  • You have purchased NRG Coaching in the past and want to get right to the services you need.

 

Deep Dive Coaching Sessions

 

Do you want to improve your job search skills but are looking for something that fits your budget? Maybe you have specific questions and only want help with one aspect of your search? Then a 60-minute Deep Dive may be exactly what you need.

Deep Dive Coaching Sessions are a strategic way to focus on a topic with a group of your peers. Join five to six other people on the job hunt to dive into topics, including: LinkedIn, Revising Your Resume, Preparing for an Interview, and more.

Cost: $75 per session.
