NRG Consulting Group has helped mission-driven organizations across the country find their perfect hire. We also know that candidates on the job hunt need support. Our coach works with people at all levels of experience and expertise, from entry-level to executive, and at all stages in their career search.

WHAT WE OFFER

  • $200 per hour

    We focus on first impressions: what does your resume say about you? Does your resume reflect the jobs you are applying for? Our coach will help you craft a version of your resume that will impress recruiters and hiring managers. We want you to stand out in a crowded field of candidates.

    $200 includes a meeting with our coach and a conversation about ways to improve your resume as well as the overall story you are sharing

    For you if:

    • You learn best while in communication with others

    • You aren’t getting past the first stage of the hiring process and you feel like you’ve tried everything

    • You are applying for a position in a new field and need help showing off your skills

  • $200 per hour

    Interviews can be awkward, but they don’t have to be.  Whether in-person, over the phone, or on Zoom, we’ll practice answering questions to make sure that you’re telling your story in a way that makes you stand out from the crowd.

    We’ll practice answering commonly-asked questions and some unconventional ones to make sure that you’re confident and prepared to show off your experience.  You’ll also receive a recording of the session that will allow you to fully engage during the process and review your feedback as you’d like in the future.

    We’ll ask you to fill out a form in advance to give us more information on what job you’re applying to so we can adapt questions and feedback to a specific sector and/or role, if desired. 

    For you if:

    • You are changing careers and need help crafting your story 

    • You aren’t getting past the initial interview of the hiring process

    • You want to be extra prepared because this is your dream job

  • $800 for 4 hours

    We will craft these sessions to meet your needs. Whatever you choose to focus on, Kristin will work with you on how to best share your story, interview well, and stand out in a crowd.

    The general outline of what’s available:

    • Intros and “tell me about yourself” practice.

    • Tips for creating job search materials, including your resume, and how to align your LinkedIn and overall online presence.

    • Interviewing training, tips, and practice.

    • How to leverage your network and best practices for informational interviews.

    For you if:

    • You have been out of the job hunt for three or more years

    • You’re making a big career change and need an expert perspective to help you craft a plan to make it happen

    • You are looking for connections and want to build your network

  • $1800 for 10 hours

    You get everything in NRG Private Coaching plus:

    • Kristin will help you make the introductions you need to expand your network

    • You will dive deep into any area of the search process that you feel needs the most work

  • We know that coaching expenses can add up. Small Group Coaching Sessions are a strategic way to focus on a topic with a group of your peers, while spending less.

    You will join five or six other people on the job hunt for each session. Topics include: understanding how to use LinkedIn, revising your resume, preparing for an interview, and more.

MEET THE COACH

Kristin Saybe has worked as a Recruitment Director for non-profits and progressive organizations, overseeing large-scale recruitment and hiring campaigns. Kristin has helped hire thousands of people to work in the progressive community. 

Prior to becoming NRG’s Career Coach, Kristin was the Recruitment Director for the Outreach Team, overseeing the hiring of field directors, organizers, project directors and operational staff for GOTV efforts, voter registration and signature-gathering campaigns run on behalf of organizations such as Planned Parenthood, NARAL Pro-Choice, and the League of Conservation Voters. 

Currently living in Richmond, VA with her husband and two daughters, Kristin grew up in Louisiana where she developed a love for parades and cajun food.  During her downtime she loves to spend time at the James River and is an avid knitter. 

Kristin has extensive staff development and training experience, and is passionate about connecting people with roles and organizations where they will excel.  Because she has hired and recruited thousands of people in the progressive community, she knows what it takes for a candidate to stand out from the crowd. 

Kristin will listen, help you to identify where you feel stuck in your job search, and hold you accountable.  If you don’t know where to start with your job search or if you have been applying to jobs for a while without success, Kristin will give you the edge you need.
